Community Guidelines

Version 2026-07-12 · Effective July 12, 2026

SceneFeed is for the punk and DIY scene — the people who book the shows, play them, and show up. These guidelines keep it a place worth showing up to. They apply to everything you share on SceneFeed: posts and flyers, photos and videos, memories, comments, captions, direct messages, your username and profile, and any features we add later. If you post it, send it, or upload it here, these rules cover it.

These guidelines are part of our Terms of Service. Breaking them can get your content removed or your account suspended or banned.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content

There is no place on SceneFeed for objectionable, abusive, or harmful content. We do not tolerate it, and we remove it. Content that violates these guidelines can be taken down and the responsible account actioned within 24 hours of us becoming aware of it — whether we find it ourselves or you report it.

What's not allowed

  • Harassment and bullying. Targeted abuse, threats, intimidation, or coordinated pile-ons against anyone — users, performers, promoters, venues, or scenes.
  • Hate. Attacks or slurs against people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic. Nazis and bigots are not welcome in this scene.
  • Violence and threats. Threatening, glorifying, or inciting violence, or organizing harm against people, animals, or property.
  • Child safety. Any sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualizes or endangers a minor, is strictly prohibited. We remove it, ban the account, preserve records, and report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement as required by law. Zero exceptions.
  • Adult sexual content. Pornographic or sexually explicit content and nudity intended to be sexually gratifying are not allowed. (Documentary or artistic photos from a show are judged in context; sexual content is not.)
  • Illegal activity. Using SceneFeed to buy, sell, or coordinate illegal goods, drugs, or services, or to facilitate other unlawful acts.
  • Doxxing and privacy violations. Sharing someone's private information (home address, phone number, private messages, etc.) without consent, or posting intimate images of a person without their consent.
  • Impersonation and deception. Pretending to be another person, band, venue, or organization, or misrepresenting your affiliation.
  • Spam and scams. Bulk unsolicited content, fake engagement, phishing, or fraudulent schemes.
  • Self-harm. Content that promotes or encourages suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders. If you're struggling, please reach out to a crisis line — in the US you can call or text 988.
  • Infringement. Posting content you don't have the right to share. See our DMCA Policy.

Reporting and blocking

Every piece of user content in SceneFeed can be reported, and you can block any user — blocking hides their content from you and yours from them. Reports go to our moderation team, which reviews flagged content and takes action, typically within 24 hours.

To report content, use the report option on the post, photo, memory, comment, or message. To report something you can't reach in-app, or to raise a safety concern, email safety@scenefeed.app.

How we enforce

Depending on severity and history, we may remove content, issue a warning, temporarily suspend an account, or permanently ban it. Severe violations — especially anything involving child safety or credible threats — result in an immediate ban and, where required, a report to the authorities.

If you believe we got a decision wrong, you can appeal by emailing safety@scenefeed.app and we'll take another look.

These guidelines evolve

SceneFeed grows and adds new ways to post and connect. These guidelines apply to every feature — current and future — in the spirit above, even before we get around to naming it specifically. When we make material changes we'll update the version at the top of this page.
